（中央社記者鄭崇生邁阿密24日專電）來自美東地區上百名僑胞今天手持中華民國國旗、歡迎總統蔡英文到訪邁阿密，有來自華府的僑胞更是半夜天還沒亮就出發、南下迎接蔡總統。

蔡總統英翔專案首站抵達轉機地邁阿密，AIT執行理事唐若文親自到機場接機、而蔡總統一行人約下午1時15分抵達下榻酒店楓丹白露，除佛羅里達州當地僑胞與台商外，不少美東僑界更自發來到飯店、揮舞國旗歡迎蔡總統。

蔡總統接受小朋友獻花並與部分僑胞握手寒暄後，隨即在安全人員的護送下進入酒店休息。

來自華府的僑胞陳柏南說，蔡總統要來、一定要來歡迎，他和太太半夜4時起床坐飛機來邁阿密，就是要為蔡總統加油打氣，也希望執政團隊會越來越好。

另一位從華府趕來的僑務委員丁弘斌則說，蔡總統的行事風格很低調，僑胞也也就不方便展示台灣熱情的接機方式，但這是蔡總統的風格而美國也歡迎這樣的做法，相信大家經過一段時間會適應，也希望蔡總統首度出訪過境美國能成功增進台美關係。

美方對蔡總統的維安規格給予相當高的層級，蔡總統抵達前、還出動防爆犬，檢查酒店大廳現場環境，在安全維護上非常謹慎小心。1050625
